Jeff McBride speaking to you from the Magic & Mystery School classroom in Las Vegas. I’ve been working on this class for many years now. The time is right to invite you to individual mentorship and also invite you to a group of like-minded magicians that are re-entering magic in the "act three of life"!

Chances are, magic found you early in life. Maybe you were the kid with a thumb tip, a Svengali deck, or a well worn beginner’s book that opened the door to wonder. Life moved on. Careers, family, responsibilities. Magic may have stepped quietly into the background. Then later, something called you back. Perhaps it was discovering the writings of Eugene Burger or Bob Neale, or encountering the deeper ideas of the Mystery School. Suddenly magic was not just clever. It was meaningful. Personal. Worth taking seriously again.

Magic is different the second or third time around. This time it is not about collecting tricks, but about expression, connection, discipline, and legacy. Mystery is no longer something you simply perform. It is something you live. I will be your personal magic mentor as we navigate and explore the possibilities open to you. I have worked with many magicians just like you who are reigniting their passion for magic and want to polish their presentations.

Not everybody is in it for the money, but for some of us, it is fun to be compensated even if we give that money to charity! The goal here is to work with you one on one and also introduce you to some of my friends and students that if I had success late in life people like Buddy August who restarted his magic career at 74 and has gone on to win national awards for his stage act. Although not everybody wants to compete or do AGT, many of us have dreams of becoming the best Magician we can be in this lifetime.

Magic Master Class is the premiere magic educational experience in the world. It involves personalized instruction at the McBride House of Mystery in a small-group setting. It is designed so that each attendee takes their magic and their magic business to the next level.

In response to popular demand, the Magic & Mystery School offers seven-day Master Classes. This means there will be more time with Jeff and Larry as well as special teaching units from world-leading teachers of magic. The seven-day class also includes a ticket for a major Las Vegas magic show, such as Mac King, and relaxed time for questions with the star. There will also be two events to which you may bring a guest or family member.

At this Special Master Class, all of the performances, talks, and breakout sessions are focused on the performing art of MENTALISM. Regular faculty members Jeff McBride and Dr. Larry Hass will share their knowledge and experience with Mentalism and Mystery Entertainment. As we get closer to the event, special guest stars may be added to the list. This will be a RARE opportunity to learn the deepest secrets of mentalism.

In addition to the Personal Performance Feedback sessions--where you get expert direction on improving your performances--the Master Class for Mentalism features small-group learning and trick teaching, as well as KEYNOTE LECTURES from Jeff and Larry and other special guests. These are high-level, cutting edge lectures on the topics, techniques, and/or leading figures in our field, prepared especially for this course.

The Magic & Meaning Conference Will Be Online Again in 2026! Join Us as We Celebrate TWENTY Years of this Grand Event!

All events will be recorded, so you can watch anytime you wish.

Our past Online Magic and Meaning Conferences have met with huge success, drawing well over one hundred participants from around the world--people who would not otherwise have been able to attend. Further, our online community has grown by leaps and bounds since the beginning of 2020. Since the Magic and Meaning Conference is our School's "homecoming event," and since our presence has become so global, the 2026 Magic and Meaning Conference will be online.

As has always been the case, the Conference will feature 16 of our remarkable P-E-P Talks by attendees. It will also feature Ensemble Shows, break-out room discussions, teaching magic effects, and discussing ideas "beyond tricks" that are essential to the art of magic.

Hosted by the Magic & Mystery School Faculty, the Magic and Meaning Conference is an annual gathering of magicians, scholars, public speakers, professionals from many areas, and performers of diverse arts. It is for anyone who loves magic, storytelling, the philosophy of magic, and who wants to think about magic in new ways.
