I completed the 7-day Masterclass a few weeks ago. I had 3 years of walkaround and trade show magic experience and it was truly a life changing experience. From the moment I walked into the House of Magic on Monday for the 2 hour opening session I knew I had found my tribe and was blown away both by the human warmth of the faculty and my cohort of magic students. The experience only got better day after day all the way through the bitter sweet end 7 days later.

 

My cohort was composed of 15 passionate magicians. At 42 years ol,d I was in the middle of the pack in terms of age, but as a part timer who only took on magic 3 years ago, I was by far the least experienced in the class. Everybody went out of their way to make me feel welcome and to help me grow. I left Vegas with a group of lifelong magical friends, more than one mentor, 180 pages of notes that will take me months to unpack, and most importantly, a roadmap on EXACTLY how to grow my magic going forward. I learned a few tricks, but most importantly I learned HOW to learn magic. That is something that will pay off for the rest of my life. Personally, I will remain a part time magician, but I learned the tools needed to become a full-time pro. Before exiting the doors of the Magic House on the last day I had already signed up for next year's Masterclass and I can't wait. I have 341 days before Masterclass 2026 starts, and a lot of self-imposed homework to be ready to make the most out of it.

 

The Masterclass is an investment, and it is the best educational experience I've had in my life, and the best investment I've ever made.
